Three main types of carpet

Our Winnellie showroom and warehouse stocks a large range of carpets, available for immediate supply. Solution dyed nylon carpet is suitable for every situation, domestic and rental properties. Our dedicated staff are happy to visit your residence to provide an obligation free measure and quote.

Loop pile

Loop pile carpet fibres have been left in their looped form. This creates a firm, low, tightly woven carpet. Very durable and stands up to heavy foot traffic as it doesn't show footprints.

Plush pile

Plush pile carpet has a pile that is short and slightly twisted, with a soft velvet appearance for a formal look. Very soft underfoot — great for bedrooms or low traffic areas.

Twist pile

Twist pile carpets have tightly twisted fibres lying in different directions, increasing strength for a hardwearing, highly resistant carpet. The textured finish is less likely to show shading or tracking.
